Untuk membekali guru dalam implementasi kurikulum 2013, MTsN 1 Kudus mengadakan acara workshop implementasi 2013, Sabtu, 16 Juli 2016. Acara yang bertempat di Aula MTsN 1 Kudus ini mendatangkan Pakar Pendidikan dari Balai Pelatihan Jakarta, Imaroh Ambarwati, MA.Acara ini dimulai dari pukul 08.00 hingga pukul 15.30.

Menurut Waka Kurikulum MTsN 1 Kudus, Rahmad Basuki, S.Pd, M.Pd mengatakan dari workshop ini diharapkan agar guru mempersiapkan penyusunan administrasi ajaran baru, selain sebagai memahami permendikbud terbaru Permen 20,21,22 dan 23 tahun 2016.
