    (Kudus, 20 Agustus 2017) Tim MTsN 1 Kudus berhasil menjuarai sebagai juara umum dalam even sain party yang diselenggarakan SMA II Kudus. Even ini memperlombakan empat jenis lomba; Matematika, kebumian, MIPA dan English Cooking. Empat lomba itu, MTsN 1 Kudus dapat meraih juara pertama dalam tiga lomba; Matematika, MIPA dan English Cooking.
Tim MTsN 1 Kudus terdiri dari 10 siswa-siswi. Mereka adalah; Hayyun Safinatul Abror (IX A), Hesa Haidar Ramadani (IX B), Lisatul Qurratil Ainiyyah (IX A), Taqwimuna Ahsan Muhsin, Awalil Rifqi Kurnia (IX A), Putro Samudro (IX A), Muhammad Mulla Shadra Al Qodri (VIII A), Muhammad Nabilul Makarim (VIII A), Miftahul Falah (VIII B), Tsania Miratus Sholichat (IX B). Sementara itu, Pembimbing ada empat guru; Aris Haryono, S.Pd, Hj. Rosma Mulyani, M.Si, Noor Jannah, S.Pd, Hj. Sri Endang, N.F, M.Si.
     Menurut Hj. Rosma selaku pembimbing Matematika, lomba Matematika dibagi menjadi tiga kelompok. Kelompok soal mudah terdiri dari empat siswa; Lisa, Nabil, Tsania dan Falah. Sementara kelompok soal sedang adalah Hayyun, Awalil dan Putro dan soal yang sulit adalah Taqwimuna Ahsan, Hesa dan Sadra. Ketiga soal tantangan tersebut diselesaikan dalam waktu 20 menit. Setelah dinilai seluruh soal yang dikerjakan oleh ketiga group tadi menang sebagai juara pertama. 
Adapun lomba English cooking terdiri dari tiga peserta; Hayyun Safinatul Abror, Hesa Haidar Ramadani dan Lisatul. Tiga peserta ini membuat oreo dan mempresentasikannya dengan menggunakan b. Inggris lalu menguploudnya di youtube. Video yang diunggah ke youtube tersebut ternyata mendapat respon positif dari panitia. Terbukti seluruh peserta masuk ke final. Dalam final tim MTsN 1 Kudus membuat ice cream salad dengan bahan-bahan yang telah dipersiapkan dari madrasah. Setelah mempresentasikan dengan b. Inggris yang baik dan benar tim MTsN 1 Kudus terpilih menjadi tim terbaik dalam even English cooking.
