Santunan Yatim Hari Asyura'

Puluhan siswa-siswi dari mulai kelas VII-IX yang berstatus yatim atau piatu atau yatim piatu, diberikan santunan oleh Madrasah. Santunan ini dilaksanakan ketika apel peringatan Asyura' atau 10 Muharam 1438 H yang bertepatan dengan 12 Oktober 2016 di Lapangan Belakang MTsN 1 Kudus.

Menurut pembina apel, Eko Sudarmanto, S.Pd, M.Pd, ini merupakan wujud dari cintanya madrasah kepada para siswa-siswi yang telah ditinggal oleh salah satu dari orang tuanya. Juga sebagai penyemangat bagi para yatama MTsN 1 Kudus. Untuk itu, Eko Sudarmanto yang tidak lain adalah Waka Kesiswaan juga meminta seluruh yatama tidak usah minder dengan siswa yang lain.

Dalam kesempatan itu juga, Eko Sudarmanto meminta kepada seluruh siswa agar menjaga kebersihan kelas dan lingkungan madrasah, karena MTsN 1 Kudus terpilih salah satu peserta lomba sekolah sehat. Sebelum pelajaran dimulai diharapkan seluruh siswa untuk menjaga kebersihan ruangan.
