Pada hari pertama masuk sekolah di semester kedua ini, MTsN 1 Kudus mengadakan peringatan Maulud Nabi Muhammad SAW, (4 Januari 2016). Bertempat di Ruang Serbaguna untuk putri dan Aula Untuk putra, acara berlangsung dengan penuh khidmah. Seluruh siswa-siswi secara bersama mengalunkan shalawat al berzanji diikuti dengan tabuhan rabbana dari Grup Rebana MTsN 1 Kudus. Hadir sebagai penceramah, KH. Drs. Moh. Shodiqun, M.Ag. Sebelum ceramah dimulai, H. Zaenuri, M.Pd selaku wakil Kep. Madrasah menghimbau kepada seluruh siswa untuk mengikuti acara dari awal hingga akhir dengan baik.

KH. Drs. Moh. Shodiqun, M.Pd dalam ceramahnya mengajak kepada seluruh hadirin untuk mengambil momentum maulud nabi untuk mengambil suri tauladan yang baik atau uswatun hasanah. Karena akhlak Nabi yang sangat mulia merupakan teladan bagi seluruh ummatnya.
