          Kepala MTsN 1 Kudus, H. M. Taufik Hidayat, S.Ag, M.Pd terus berupaya untuk membuat seluruh siswa hidup sehat. Sabtu(15/9/2018) seluruh guru dan karyawan dibantu siswa-siswi MTsN 1 Kudus membersihkan lingkungan madrasah.
        Sejak pukul 06.45 seluruh siswa sibuk membersihkan lingkungan madrasah. Ada yang bertugas di kamar mandi, kelas, koperasi, kantin madrasah dan lapangan madrasah. Seluruh siswa merasa bersemangat dengan kebersihan ini.

       Menurut Taufik Hidayat bahwa kebersihan merupakan wujud keimanan seorang. Jika seorang muslim mempunyai iman di hati, maka dia haruslah menjadi muslim yang bersih. Ini yang disampaikan oleh Rasulullah dalam haditsnya, ‘Annadzafatu minal iman’.
        Sayangnya tidak seluruh negara muslim mempraktikkan kebersihan. Malah beberapa negara yang dikatakan negara kafir lebih banyak mempraktikkan hidup bersih dan sehat. Tentu ini tidak ingin terjadi pada generasi muslim di Indonesia. Selain dibekali dengan ilmu dan agama, tentu mereka juga harus ditumbuhkan rasa memiliki madrasah dan menjaganya, sebagai wujud kesadaran akan lingkungan yang mereka tempati di manapun berada.
