Dalam rangka pembekalan pengurus baru KSBS (Komunitas Seni Budaya Siswa), MTsN 1 Kudus mengadakan leadership basic traning. Acara yang berlangsung selama satu hari, Ahad, 8 Oktober 2017 sejak jam 07.00-16.00 ini sebagai bekal pengurus baru untuk melangsungkan estafet seni budaya siswa MTsN 1 Kudus.
Dalam sehari, leader basic traning diisi oleh tiga materi penting; leadership dinamika pengurus KSBS yang diisi oleh Drs. Ahmad Supraptho, pembinaan mental oleh Siswanto, S.Pd, Wawasan seni oleh Rofi’i Dz, S.Ag.
Acara ini dibuka langsung oleh Waka Kurikulum MTsN 1 Kudus, H. Rahmad Basuki, M.Pd. dalam kesempatan itu, Rahmad Basuki mengajak seluruh peserta agar menggunakan momen ini sebagai penyambung estafet agar seni budaya MTsN 1 Kudus tetap lestari. Karena bekal seperti ini menurut Rahmad Basuki adalah hal yang sangat langka.
Rahmad Basuki juga berpesan agar KSBS tetap meningkatkan semengat dalam belajar, belatih, berkarya dan berprestasi. Karena seperti tahun-tahun sebelumnya, KSBS selalu menjuarai dalam even-even lomba baik itu di tingkat Kabupaten maupun Provinsi.
