Kudus (05/02/2021)- Tim robotik Blue Wolfrimp atas nama M. Gavindaffa Arifin dan Raditya Himy MTs  Negeri 1 Kudus berhasil meraih juara 2 kategori best participant dalam rangka kompetisi grand final Madrasah Robotic Competition (MRC) yang diselenggarakan oleh Kementerian Agama RI. Pelaksanaan grand final diselenggarakan di  Gedung Graha Alawiyah Kampus II Universitas Islam As-Syafi’iyah, Bekasi, Jakarta pada hari Selasa, 2 Februari 2021. 

Tim robotik Blue Wolfrimp kategori maze solving ini sebelumnya menjalani beberapa tahap, tahap pertama adalah tahap penyisihan dan berhasil lolos yaitu masuk 30 Besar terpilih, setelah itu tahap yang kedua adalah uji presentasi dan demo robot juga berhasil terpilih dan masuk grand final Dalam kategori Kategori Maze Solving merupakan jenis robot yang berfungsi untuk menemukan jalur labirin. Menurut pembimbing tim robotik dari MTs Negeri 1 Kudus, Alfin Lukmanul Hakim, ketika final berlangsung, dirinya mengakui jalur lintasan yang ditentukan panitia lebih sulit. Karena selama ini, ia membimbing belum pernah menggunakan jalur lintasan tanjakan. Namun, hal tersebut bisa teratasi karena Radit dan Gavinda adalah anak yang cerdas. “Jadi ceritanya arena robotnya itu berupa labirin garis. disana tersebar beberapa check point yg harus dilewati robot. tiap check point memiliki rintangan yang berbeda-beda.” jelasnya.  

Kepala MTs Negeri 1 Kudus, Taufiq Hidayat bersyukur atas juara yang diraih oleh anak didiknya. “Prestasi ini adalah prestasi pertama dalam bidang robotik di MTs Negeri 1 Kudus. Prestasi pertama dan membanggakan. Saya harap prestasi ini dipertahankan dan kalau bisa lebih baik kasta lagi ke tingkat internasional. Saya yakin siswa-siswi MTs Negeri 1 Kudus mampu untuk meraih itu.”
