Dalam rangka Hari Amal Bakti Ke-75 Kementerian Agama RI, semua instansi dan lembaga naungan Kementerian Agama menggelar upacara. Memang tidak seperti tahun-tahun sebelumnya. Upacara tahun ini dibatasi peserta karena pandemi. Meski begitu, semua elemen kementerian agama tetap menggelar upacara virtual via zoom melalui satuan kerja masing-masing termasuk MTs Negeri 1 Kudus pada hari ini Selasa, 5 Januari 2021 di Ruang Aula.

Upacara virtual tersebut mengikuti sentral yang diselenggarakan kantor kementerian agama Kabupaten Kudus bertempat di MAN 1 Kudus. Bertindak sebagai pembina upacara yaitu Bapak Drs. H. Ahmad Mundakir, M.Si menyampaikan amanat sesuai dari Menteri Agama RI bahwasannya dengan tema HAB ke-75 ini adalah "Indonesia Rukun". "Tema ini sejalan dengan semangat nasional yang menempatkan kerukunan umat beragama sebagai salah satu modal bangsa ini untuk maju. Tanpa kerukunan, akan sukar menggapai cita-cita besar bangsa agar sejajar dengan bangsa lain di dunia." dalam teks pidato Menteri Agama RI yang disampaikan Ahmad Mundakir.

Selain itu Menteri Agama RI juga mempunyai program yang harus dijalankan oleh seluruh elemen Kementerian Agama yaitu Semangat Kementerian Agama Baru. "Semangat Kementerian Agama baru itu dapat diterjemahkan dengan beberapa kata kunci.

Pertama, manajemen pelayanan dan tata kelola birokrasi yang harus semakin baik, termasuk di dalamnya pelayanan penyelenggaraan haji dan umrah, pendidikan agama dan keagamaan, serta pusat pelayanan keagamaan.

Kedua, penguatan moderasi beragama. Salah satu penekanan moderasi beragama adalah pada penguatan literasi keagamaan, budaya toleransi, dan nilai-nilai kebangsaan.

Ketiga, persaudaraan, yang meliputi merawat persaudaraan umat seagama, memelihara persaudaraan sebangsa dan setanah air dan mengembangkan persaudaraan kemanusiaan." Lanjutan dalam teks pidato Menteri Agama yang disampaikan Ahmad Mundakir.
